Meet Cally Peterson
Cally (Musland) Peterson is editor of the state’s largest-circulated publication, North Dakota Living, produced by the North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives. Previously, Peterson produced North Dakota’s top-rated radio talk show, “News and Views with Joel Heitkamp,” on KFGO-AM in Fargo and served as executive director of The Arc of Bismarck, advocating for North Dakotans with disabilities.
She is the secretary-treasurer of the National Electric Cooperatives Statewide Editors Association and serves on the board of the North Dakota News Cooperative.
Originally from Jamestown, Peterson is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and lives in rural Steele. In both personal and professional capacities, she seeks to provide a rural perspective and elevate rural voices.
